General Membership Meeting Announcement
There will be an in-person and virtual general membership meeting of the NMRA Nutmeg Division on the Third Saturday of the month, October 16, 2021.
This facility is wheelchair accessible.
Non-members, family, and friends are welcome to attend.
The capacity of the room is 50 people with the tables and chairs set up. For social distancing, tables provide clear separators and cannot be moved. There is limited parking in front of the police department.
Face Masks are required for this event.

| Our Clinician, Dave Ackmann, a member of the Gateway Division of the NMRA in St Louis, will propose that 3D printing is like Stages of Love: Expensive, Complex but can be Highly Rewarding. It’s not to be entered lightly, as it is as complex as DCC. Dave will disclose what he believes is the most important consideration in buying a 3D printer. He shows where he goes for 3D models of HO structures that are now on his layout. He names filament brands that work for him, and those that didn’t. Dave will show how he used TinkerCAD to design building interiors for random room lighting. He describes what to do when the printer inevitably clogs. Dozens of successful projects will be shown. | |||
