General Membership Meeting Announcement

There will be an in-person and virtual general membership meeting of the NMRA Nutmeg Division on the Third Saturday of the month, June 19, 2021.
This facility is wheelchair accessible.
Non-members, family, and friends are welcome to attend.
The Fellowship Hall facility has a large enough room that can handle at least 80 people under normal conditions. We will be limiting the attendance to approximately 20 people based on having a social distance of 6ft minimum between each person.
Face Masks are required for this event.

Ticket Booth Opens 9:15 AM 9:45 AM Socialize as best as possible
    For safety reasons if you would like to have refreshments you will have to bring your own.
    At this time there will not be the white elephant table or the latest modeling efforts by the members or memorabilia.

      How to make background trees using natural armatures (hydrangeas).
  11:00 AM 11:50 AM Clinic #2 - Modifying Walthers Cornerstone Buildings
      Presented by Mike Vivion
      Mike has “bashed” more than 60 Walthers Cornerstone Structures for himself and others.  He will not be showing all of them, but he will show some of the more Highly modified ones.  There should be ideas for everyone.
Stops ~12:00 PM until finished Virtual layout visit from Wisconsin, Don May is a longtime model Railroader, a past Division Superintendent and emphasizes operation.  He recently moved and is re-assembling his railroad layout in a 15' x 35' room with a staging yard out of sight in the adjacent furnace room.  He is still using DC poer, which is becoming unusual.
Departure Time     When the layout visit is finished, then we will break for the day unless we get a second layout visit.
